FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply grip tape?
Start at the bottom of your paddle handle and wrap upward at a slight diagonal — about 45 degrees of overlap works well. Keep the tension even as you go. Secure the top with the finishing tape included with your grip.
How long does grip tape last?
It depends on how often you play. For most recreational players, a grip lasts 4–8 weeks of regular use. When your grip starts to feel slick or looks worn, it's time for a fresh one.
Will edge guards fit my paddle?
Our edge guards are designed to fit most standard recreational and intermediate paddles. If you're unsure about your paddle's edge width, reach out through our Contact page and we'll help you find the right fit.
How do I apply an edge guard?
Clean your paddle edge with a dry cloth first. Peel the backing off your edge guard and press firmly along the edge, starting at one side and working your way around. Press down on the corners to make sure they bond well.
Can I mix and match grips and edge guards?
Absolutely — that's half the fun. If you want a perfectly coordinated look, check out our Signature Styling Kits and Mini Styling Kits, which pair grips and edge guards designed to go together.
